Sailfish... Sailfish...Sailfish... The bite is on! This week we
also saw a real mix of
fish. The week started out with as many small snake
kingfish as you could catch. Later in the week the
small school Kings disappeared and the larger 10lb - 20lb
were on the 100' reef. The wrecks have been alive with
Amberjacks up to 40lbs. Some of the shallower wrecks
have had these big Jacks on them and a live bait on or near
the surface with a spinning rod will get the bite. A few
Dolphin (Mahi) have been on the edge in about 450' on out to
700', lots of small tuna on the edge as well. The winds are going
to the north, this should bring more schools of tailing Sailfish
our way. We will let you know what bites next week.
See you on the RAGED EDGE of the STREAM .... |
